Pu Ching Cing Thang gets most vote in Tidim constiutency

A report said that a candidate for Pyithu Hluttaw in Tidim constituency, Pu Ching Cing Thang, Chairman of Zomi Center for Democracy (ZCD) got most vote on yesterday general election in Mynamar. Although there was not any result announcement from state election commission on Chin state, Pu Ching Cing Thang got more than ten thousand of votes from 43000 voters in Tidim township.

“He is sure for member of Pyithu Hluttaw as he got more than ten thousand votes, and other candidates are very far to get this number,” said U Kam Lian, secretary of ZCD.

 

Other candidates are Dr. Pung Sung Thang from USDP, U Do Sung Mung from Ethnic Unity Party, Daw Un Sui Dim from Chin Progressive Party, U Sing Zam from Chin Democratic Party and Dr. Vawm Lian Thang from Chin League for Democracy.
